Fall Kick off service event! We will be teaming up with the 20s and 30s small group (which includes Jess, Joe and Monica among others) to serve the community in Lawrence.
Please join us at 8:30 am at the Manchester Street Park Pavilion (circled in green in the image below). There will be a sign for Immanuel Church.
Note that the flyer states the address is 75 Manchester St, but Google puts a marker for that address a bit away from the actual park.
Anyone participating under 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature. The form is available here:http://www.groundworklawrence.org/spicketrivercleanup.
Some people have let us know that they will be coming, but if you have not decided yet there is still time! Send us an email so we know to look for you on Saturday. We will finish up at 11am, find us at the same place where we met earlier. Parents/families are also welcome to join the fun!
SUNDAY:
Youth group returns! 6-8pm for all 6th-12graders. There will be games. There will be snacks. There will be a welcome-back message from our very own Super Dave. We will have small group times, some testimony, all in all a really fantastic evening planned. *Parents we will have a contact/information form for the 2014-2015 year so please make sure to fill one out when you are at the church Sunday. We will have them available in the morning and at Youth Group.
